How to Measure Your Hat Size (Using a String & Ruler)

 Step 1: Get Your Tools 

You will need: 

• A piece of string (non-stretchy works best)

• A ruler or measuring tape

• A mirror (optional) 

 Step 2: Wrap the String Around Your Head 

1. Place the string around your head where you would normally wear your hat.

2. Position it just above your eyebrows and over the tops of your ears.

3. Make sure the string is snug, but not too tight. 

 Step 3: Mark the Length 

1. Pinch the point where the end of the string meets the rest of the string.

2. Hold that point with your fingers.

 Step 4: Measure the String 

1. Lay the string flat on a table.

2. Use your ruler to measure the length from end to the pinched point.

3. Write down the measurement in inches or centimeters. 

 Step 5: Match Your Number to the Size Chart
